ePropulsion, a global leader in electric marine propulsion systems and services, has extended its partnership with SailGP through the 2026 and 2027 seasons, continuing its role as the championship's Official Electric Outboard Supplier for Small Craft.

Since 2021, ePropulsion has supported SailGP's on water operations by supplying electric outboard motors for its fleet of small craft and support vessels. The renewed partnership builds on this strong foundation, further reducing emissions across event operations while demonstrating the reliability and performance of electric propulsion in demanding, real world conditions.

As a global leader in electric marine propulsion systems, ePropulsion delivers quiet, reliable and sustainable power through its range of outboards, inboards and pod drives. The partnership aligns closely with SailGP's broader climate goals and on water transition plans.

SailGP Head of Impact Iona Neilson said: "Sport has a powerful role to play in accelerating real-world change. Our partnership with ePropulsion allows us to demonstrate how electric propulsion can perform reliably in demanding environments - all while reducing emissions across our operations. By integrating clean technologies into the day-to-day running of SailGP, we aim to help drive broader adoption across the marine sector."

ePropulsion Co-founder and CEO Danny Tao said: "SailGP continues to set the standard for high performance, purpose driven sport, and we're proud to be continuing our partnership. Working together has already delivered meaningful progress, and we're excited to build on that momentum, driving further innovation in clean marine technology and supporting SailGP's ambition for a more sustainable future on the water."

Through SailGP's international race calendar and global broadcast reach, the collaboration continues to highlight how sustainable propulsion technologies can be integrated into elite sport operations and beyond.

The 2026 season continues with the championship's return to Sydney Harbour, marking its sixth event in the iconic location.
