The Application of Electric Boat Motor

Electric boat motor for sailboats

ePropulsion electric outboards enable one-design sailboats to leave and return to the marina quick, silent and maneuverable. Owners of daysailers and small cruising sailboats love pod drives because they are space-saving, quiet and vibration-free. The hydrogenation and solar charging also allow sailors to travel further and sail sustainably.

Electric outboards for fishing boats

Fishing quiet is important. Our electric outboard motor is so quiet it won’t spook the fish. In addition, electric outboards are super efficient at trolling speed and you can go fishing all day long without worrying about the run-time.Ideal for both freshwater and saltwater, ePropulsion electric outboard motors are perfect for jon boats, aluminum fishing boats, bass boats and fishing pontoons.

ePropulsion electric outboard motor for baots

The electric outboard motor has a simple motor structure with much fewer components than gas engines. It offers a more reliable solution while requiring minimum maintenance. Work boats, commercial boats and rental boats can have longer service hours which translates to more up-time.The quiet and exhaust-free experience also makes passengers comfortable onboard.

As electric propulsion systems become increasingly popular, more boat owners are looking toward electric propulsion and larger boats have growing numbers of electric tenders and rechargeable-battery water toys aboard. Nowadays, lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) seem to be the solid choice for electric propulsion in leisure boats and small commercial vessels with its advantages over other lithium-ion battery designs and older lead-acid (LA) batteries, such as less weight, zero maintenance, and better charge and discharge characteristics, etc.

Check out the blog from our bio linktree to learn more benefits of LiFePO4, what makes it the safest lithium battery type, and why it delivers long life and more power for electric boats!

ePropulsion is delighted to announce the world debut of H-100, its first electric inboard at Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 21st – 23rd June 2022. It is a prime opportunity for ePropulsion to launch H-100 at the global exhibition, which is considered the only exhibition and conference that will showcase emerging efficient technologies to shipowners and operators, boat builders, designers, naval architects, military fleet and port operators.

The H-100 is an innovative 100kw inboard motor, engineered for larger vessels with a full displacement up to 200 tons, that delivers high performance with less noise, fewer vibrations and zero exhaust fumes. The modular design allows manufacturers to easily extend the range and power by adding motors, controllers and batteries, and having more flexibility. The boating Internet of Things (IoT) system will enable owners to manage their fleet remotely and easily.

The H-100 widens the choice for sustainable boating solutions for boat builders and boaters. Danny Tao, CEO of ePropulsion said:” We are delighted to introduce our first electric inboard solution at this year’s Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo and showcase our real-world electric alternative to traditional diesel power for operators and owners of larger vessels.”

The launch of the H-100 is a sign of ePropulsion’s further transition to a premium green boating experience.
