ePropulsion Debuts E100 High-Performance Battery To Support Award-Winning Electric Propulsion Platforms
Canton, GA – ePropulsion Americas, the global leader in marine electric propulsion systems and services, announced today the debut of the newest addition to its E-Series batteries, the E100. Joining the E60 and E163, the ePropulsion E100 battery represents a new benchmark in marine energy storage, purpose-built for modern mariners seeking compact power, efficiency and adaptability.

Engineered around advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate chemistry, the E100 delivers high performance with sustainability at its core. With a substantial capacity of 5,120 watt-hours, the new 48V battery packs remarkable energy into a streamlined form, standing just 9.5-inches (240mm) high. Its low-profile design enables effortless installation beneath seating or within confined compartments, while removable decorative trim and a dedicated mounting bracket provide added flexibility for storage and integration.
Designed to support ePropulsion’s electric motors including the Spirit, Navy and Pod Drive lineups ranging from 1 to 6 kW, the E100 is optimized to extend operational range, even for 6 kW systems running at full output. Scalability is central to its design: up to 16 batteries can be connected in parallel to increase overall capacity, and a simple series connection of two units enables a 96V configuration, unlocking rapid charging in under two hours. For example, twin E100’s in series will support the ePropulsion X12, I10 and Pod Drive 12 motors.

“We’re very proud to launch the E100 as the newest addition to ePropulsion’s E-Series batteries,” said Danny Tao, co-founder and CEO of ePropulsion. “This new battery is ready to consistently deliver reliability and high-performance to ePropulsion electric motors. We’re certain that users will appreciate its compact design for concealed installation, as well as its expandability to bring boaters sustainable power, no matter their vessel’s requirements.”
Built for demanding marine environments, the E100 features robust all-metal construction that is weather-resistant, impact-resistant, and drop-proof. A fully integrated Battery Management System ensures maximum safety, while real-time State of Charge (SoC) monitoring delivers confidence and control on every voyage.
The E100 also prioritizes intelligent connectivity. Integration with third-party gateways allows seamless communication with a wide range of onboard systems, supporting smart energy management and system monitoring. Long-term durability is assured, with a life expectancy of up to 3,000 cycles while maintaining 80% State of Health (SoH).
